Bronchoscopy is a type of endoscopy or camera test where the physician can look into the bronchial tubes of the lungs. Various types of samples can be obtained during this test to look for conditions like cancer and infections. Any procedure has risks, and bronchoscopy is no different, but it can be very helpful in the diagnosis of a wide variety of diseases.
